When you are waiting for a phone call - where do you hide? What do you do?

I decided to weed the furthest patch of my garden and then gradually worked closer and closer to the house as the time for the call came closer.
And it was what I expected, they wanted a literacy specialist, they loved what I did with the children and what I could offer, but.... Damn that word but!!!

I shall weep tears into my tea cup, pick myself up and look all over again. Sorry about that!!
